San Angelo ISD Partners with La Esperanza to Host Clinics for State-Required Immunizations

In conjunction with our middle school “Schedule Pick-Up and Form Verification” events, San Angelo ISD will host three immunization clinics in partnership with La Esperanza to provide SAISD families accessible opportunities for students in kindergarten through 12th grade to get Texas-required immunizations

The dates, times and locations are as follows:

Thursday, August 1st, 2024

  • Time: 12:00-3:00
  • Location: Glenn  Middle School

Friday, August 2nd, 2024

  • Time: 11:00-3:00
  • Location: Lincoln Middle School

Monday, August 5th

  • Time: 9:00-12:00
  • Location: Lone Star Middle School

State law and the Texas Department of State Health Services require that students be fully vaccinated against certain diseases, and provide that all immunizations should be completed by the first day of attendance. SAISD cares about our students, and our goal is to partner with our families so they can be in school where they have the best opportunity to learn and grow.

Immunizations available on-site at the clinics will include Hepatitis A, Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR), Chickenpox (VAR), Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (DTAP), Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (TDAP), Meningococcal (MCV4), Bexsero (Men B), and Polio (IPV).

Additional details include:
