2026 Kindergarten Roundup, Future Ready Begins Here, with photos of kindergarten students

At San Angelo ISD, we are excited to begin growing hopes and dreams with our future pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students! During the week of April 13-17, our elementary schools across the district will open their doors to welcome the families of incoming pre-k and kindergarten students to get to know their future elementary schools and receive assistance with the online enrollment process for the 2026-2027 school year.

Enrollment in San Angelo ISD is now open for new and returning students entering grades pre-kindergarten through 12 for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Enrollment can be completed in any web browser or on a smartphone.

San Angelo ISD is proud to announce our partnership with Lightspeed STOPit, a nationally recognized leader in school safety and wellness. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the most effective safety tools for our students, staff, and families, San Angelo ISD will be transitioning from the StayAlert reporting system to the Lightspeed STOPit anonymous reporting app.

Superintendent Newsletter - February 2026

The March Superintendent Newsletter highlights exciting progress across the district. From bond construction updates and a district job fair to family events like “Manos a la Obra,” there’s a lot happening this spring. You’ll also find student and staff celebrations, including standout performances in academics, fine arts, athletics, and JROTC, along with helpful reminders about safety and staying connected.

“Who Would Win? Tyrannosaurus Rex vs. Velociraptor?” — that was the question sparking excitement among Bonham Elementary School fifth graders during the San Angelo READS! March book giveaway. Approximately 100 students gathered in the library to hear special guest reader Jeremy Bartz, Vice President of the Destination Marketing Organization, bring the popular nonfiction book to life.
